The SSI Divemaster rating recognizes candidates that have the knowledge and training necessary to perform the duties of a certified assistant. These duties including assisting SSI Instructors with conducting entry-level an continuing education scuba training programs. Once you have completed the Professional Dive Guide and Science of Diving programs and logged 60 Open Water dives you will automatically receive the SSI Divemaster rating.
Prerequisites:
40 logged dives, Certifications in Stress and Rescue. Either hold certifications in Deep Diving, Night and Limited Visibility and Navigation or have logged proof of 5 experience dives in each specialty.
Includes: Science of Diving and Dive Guide Specialties, SSI Pro Fee, Dive Guide Slates and free accommodation in our professional dorm apartment for up to 1 weeks. (If available. If not available, a $25/night credit will be given to stay in a private room at The Odyssey Resort Utila)
